All contributions to The Count Basie Theatre Foundation Inc., a tax exempt organization formed under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Special Events
Capital Campaign
The Count Basie Theatre is in the midst of a capital campaign to renovate the interior and exterior of the building which has not experienced a major renovation since it was built in 1926. The seats were replaced in 2004, the auditorium and lobbies were completed in 2008 but there is more that needs to be done. If you would like to be a part of this effort, you may make a gift through the below link.
You can become a Friend of the Basie or Partner of the Basie when you give at a particular level to our capital campaign. Special benefits accompany these giving levels. Click here for all the details.

Take Your Seat Campaign
You can make a lasting impression on the Basie by "purchasing" a seat in the Theatre. Your personal message will be engraved on a brass plaque on the arm of the seat to show your support of the arts, honor a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary or memorialize a loved one. Download the "Take Your Seat" form for details and instructions. Seat values range from $500 - $5,000 for this special support. Call 732-224-8778 x 115 with questions or for more information.
