The Count Basie Theatre Foundation was created to provide operating support to the Theatre, raise the capital needed to restore the facility and to create an endowment.
-Every pledge/gift we receive large or small will help keep the Basie a
permanent fixture in Red Bank and will help us create a state of the art theatre offering
unparalleled entertainment. Aside from our structural updates to the theatre,
the staff of the Basie is constantly working to improve upon our current
performing arts education programming.
- It costs $6 million
annually to run the Count Basie Theatre.
Take Your Seat
You can literally be a part of the excitement and artistry of the Count Basie Theatre through the Take Your Seat Campaign.
Choose one of the Basie's 1,500 seats and give it your personal touch. Have a message inscribed on a permanent brass plaque on a seat within the Theatre to show your support of the arts and the Basie's renaissance. Your inscription is your choice - it could be your name, your children's names, a message to honor a special birthday or anniversary or a unique way to remember a loved one.
Prices start at $500 per seat based on seat location.
