The Count Basie Theatre Foundation was created to provide operating support to the Theatre, raise the capital needed to restore the facility and to create an endowment.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Count Basie Theatre Foundation is always looking for
volunteers to assist with a number of things.Below are some of the areas we can use assistance.Please review and let us know what you might
be interested in and your availability (weekdays, weekends, number of hours per
week, etc.)Once we hear back with that
information, we can arrange for the appropriate staff to meet with you.
Office Assistance, available weekdays from 8am to 5pm - help
out with general office tasks including mailings, filing and small projects.
Special Event Assistance, see Committees - over the course
of the year the Theatre Foundation hosts a number of events.Those wishing to assist in this capacity will
help with logistics, day of items and general office duties in conjunction with
the event.
