FAQ
Q: If I join as a member now, when does my membership expire? A: Your membership is active for one year from the month you first sign up or renew your membership.
Q: Is membership tax deductible? A: Yes it is, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Q: May I use a matching gift from my employer for my membership? A: A number of our members use an employer match to increase their support level to the Theatre. Check your company’s matching gift policy.
Q: Do you send advance notices every week? A: Advance notices are issued when new shows have been confirmed. While we might not have new shows to announce every week, the advance notice and ticket purchase opportunity are issued to our members at mid-day on Tuesday. Shows are also announced to the general public on Tuesday but they cannot buy tickets until Friday.
Q: Will getting the advance notice for shows get me better seats? A: The member advance ticket purchase will provide you with the opportunity to purchase tickets days before they go on sale to the public. The more quickly you respond to the notice, the more choices you will have in your seat selection.
Q: Why should I become a member? A: Even at our primary level of $50 per year, you will receive a tax deduction as a charitable contribution, you will save the service charges when buying tickets over the phone and you will be recognized as a supporter of the arts. If you buy just 12 tickets over the course of a year, your membership will have paid for itself in saved service fees. Please note that the $2/ticket restoration fee is applicable to ALL ticket sales.
Q: What is The Carlton Lounge? A: The Carlton Lounge, located at the street level just to the west of the Box Office is for the use and enjoyment of our Supporter level, Patron level and Chairmen’s Circle level members. It offers a comfortable private lounge to enjoy a drink before, during or immediately after the show. It boasts a full service bar, private restrooms and closed circuit flat screen television directed at the stage so you won't miss a minute of the show.
